There is an area along the Louisa and Goochland County line with is still
ambigious; north, west and south of Gum Spring, along Three Notch or Three
Chopt road, the general area being near Gum Spring, VA. Is anyone familiar
with this area? I would like to obtain an old plat map, 1770's era. I
would like to know of a research person living in this area who could
research at both Goochland and Louisa County courthouse. Thank you.
The surnames in question are: Slayden/Slayton,Sladyen, Shelton, Bailey,
Gilliam and more.

Lincoln, NE
