Mourning Lewis Adams mother was Elizabeth Ferris Woodson, daughter of
Col. Robert Woodson and Elizabeth (Farrar) Ferris and not Ann Montgomery
- her father was indeed Major William Lewis son of Major John Lewis III &
Isabella Miller.
