Definitely many people are needed to make these projects happen - a talented and dedicated group of Library of Virginia staff and the support of circuit court clerks around the state. Preparing and scanning the Augusta County chancery collection was a massive undertaking and accomplishment - so it's nice to hear your comments.

The Library of Virginia is pleased to announce that all images for the Augusta
County chancery collection are in and now available on the Chancery Records
Index. With this final addition of images, all Augusta County chancery causes
for 1746-1912 can be viewed online—a total of 10,268 suits and 878,490 images.
