As Vicki eluded to, I guess you need to be more specific, especially in time
frame.  There were a lot of creeks in the very early days of Norfolk that
have been filled in to create downtown Norfolk as it is today.  I know of at
lest two Tanner's Creeks which exist today, as mentioned, that, as far as I
know, do not connect.  There is also a Tanner's Point where the old coal
piers used to be.
