Several sources exist for a chronology of the battles in both the North and
South. Unfortunately, most are currently out of print. One that is in print
is:

BATTLES OF THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR, 1775-1781 by W. J. Wood

Another, but out of print is Peckham, The Toll of Independence.

The Center for Military History also published a chronology during the
bicentenial, but I do not have a proper citiation.


> 2.  A source for the Quarterly Pension Payment Vouchers for the Act of
1818, Richmond Agency, Group 217.

Pension Payment Vouchers of the Richmond Pension Office, under the Act of
1818 are found in Record Group 217, Records of the Accounting Officers of
the United States. Currently, they are located in the National Archives in
College Park, Maryland. The ledgers that represent these payments are found
on National Archives Microfilm Publication T718, Ledgers of Payments,
1818-1872, to U.S. Pensioners Under Acts of 1818 Through 1858, From Records
of the Office of the Third Auditor of the Treasury. By checking this
microfilm under the Act of 1818, Richmond Agency you can verify which
quarters a pensioner has payment vouchers.

Unfortunately it will be necessary to go through the entire quarters
vouchers to find the one that you are looking for.
