Searching for the cemetery in which VA Baptist minister Thomas Courtney is
buried. He died of smallpox in Richmond, VA, in April 1797, at which time he
had been the minister of Black Creek Church in Hanover County from 1788-1797.
He was a brother of John Courtney, the longtime minister of First Baptist
Church in Richmond.
