*Kentucky Genealogical Research at the Archives and Beyond *will be
discussed by Barbara Teague, the Library of Virginia's Director, Government
Records Services Division; and until recently Kentucky State Archivist and
Records Administrator.

GRIVA's May Program Meeting will be held Tuesday, 24 May, 7:45 pm in the
Beck Room at Bon Air Presbyterian Church, 9201 West Huguenot Road, Richmond.

Once upon a time, Kentucky was part of Virginia and was populated by many
Virginians moving west, motivated by the ever-enticing promise of new land.
