Among the Research Guides and Bibliographies available on the Library of
Virginia's Web site at http://www.lva.virginia.gov is a discussion of
the calendar reform act of 1752 and some discussion of its impolications
for researching in Virginia records. It is entitled simply, Dates.

For ready access to that and other valuable information, please visit
the Library of Virginia's Web site, click open the Site Index in the
left margin, click open the letter R, and click open Research Guides and
Bibliographies.

The note on dates was prepared by the founder of Va-Roots, the late
Daphne S. Gentry.
