For reasons that I do not know, but not related to anything anybody in
the Library of Virginia did, there was an interruption of Va-Roots
message services at the end of last week. Some people had messages to
the list rejected, which was an automatic response of a computer that
must have been maladjusted.

Va-Hist is still inoperative, and I cannot post messages or find out
why.

Patience, please.
