Good morning,

To commemorate Archives Month in Virginia, a new exhibit is on display at the
Library of Virginia, 800 East Broad St. in Richmond, in the pre-function hall,
adjacent to conference rooms, A, B, and C.

The exhibit explores the theme, “To Choose Our Better History,” with examples
of volunteerism and philanthropy in Gloucester and Mathews Counties, and
activism and political protest in Richmond and Lynchburg. The exhibit will be
on display October 1-31.

Check out the archives month web site, which includes information about the
images submitted for the poster, and a PDF of the poster, and information
about events planned for Archives Month. All events are free and open to the
public. http://www.lva.virginia.gov/public/archivesmonth/2009/
