I found an entry in St Peter's Parish Vestry Book (New Kent Co. VA,  
1684-1786) p.345 that reads:
	Thomas son to Thomas Cranshaw  bapt: ye 25 of Desemr 169[ ]
Can anyone shed any light on the identity of the father or the child?  
Dates, etc.?
