Val:  Good many ADAMS, CAUDILL, etc, in Old Rowan Co,
including parts that became Wilkes and Ashe Co. Floyd
County is in sw VA. Don't know where Lechter Co is but
it's not NC or VA.
If you can provide some more info - names, dates, etc -
I'll try to do some lookups for Rowan>Wilkes.
