Sarah - if you have a library card, go to your library system online (google it if you have to) and look for the genealogy section.  Then check to see if they have available to you the HeritageQuest search engine for the federal census.  Let me know if you have too much difficulty and I may be able to check for you.  But try first.  Also, try FamilySearch.  I located Sarah Bristow in Buena Vista (K&Q Co), living with her husband and 3 sons, the two older ones with the last name Foster.  When I go to this site I also check the neighborhood by clicking on household next door etc.

Most of my most recent ancestors originated in Virginia. At present, I'm

parents as Sarah Elizabeth Bristow & Sylvester Pillsbury on his birth 
certificate. However, other records exist (including those by James Ware 
himself) that list his parents as Sarah Ware and John Richard Ware. 

Can anyone tell me how I can go about getting information on any of these 
individuals??? Thanks so much.
