Sometime an?African American, who is light skinned is sometimes? called "high yellow" can be referenced this way, and of course the half would be because they shared?a parent. I hope that makes sense and is just what came to my mind.

Subject: high half sister

In a description of a family's makeup there were 3 brothers and a high half
sister.

Does anyone know what a high half sister is?
