Hi all,

I have Elizabeth Hatcher born 1810 who md George B Cox on 8-20-1842. This
info is found on both the Cumberland Genweb site and also on the LVA in the
Index to Marriages. The notation on her index card image is "Rebekah Hatcher
consents for Elizabeth; relationship not stated."

Why would a 32 yr old woman need consent? This notation is not found on the
Genweb site altho other marriages on Genweb do show notations.
