I just learned from another list that the London Times on-line digital image
library 1785-1985 is offering free access during April.  Theres' only a few
days left, but it's well worth a look.  I found arrival and departure
notices for the ships some of my ancestors immigrated on.  After that I
started looking at all sorts of stuff --- it's interesting to see the
British point of view on American events.  And I've had a great time reading
Peninsular war news (my particular interest).  A true treasure for a
research geek like me :-)
