Please forgive my "going to the well" twice in one day!

Does anyone know of instances in which Colonial parish registers listed a birth, marriage, or death of someone who was not a resident of the parish (and without stating that fact)? My research relates to a birth entry in the Overwharton Parish register (1750), and I would like to prove that the parents were *former* residents of the parish who had moved about 60 miles away some 14 years earlier.

By the way, in relation to my prior query, I realize that each parish register was normally kept by one person. But, in this instance, the handwriting of all of the entries is so precisely identical that that person appears to have written all three pages in one sitting.

Thanks!

Scott
