HELP!!!!  I am a descendant of the above Hugh &
Frances Cavender who were married in Amelia
Co., VA and had 8 children, according to Hugh's
Will. Anyway, I logged onto Ancestry.com and
found that someone had stored their collection of
data regarding Hugh & Frances. I downloaded the
file and am totally frustrated in trying to open the
file. I have FTM installed but apparently do not
know how to operate it properly. Apparently the
file is a "zipped"/GEDCOM. I have been searching
for over 35 years and would like to compare what
I have with what they have collected. Would someone
please download the file and send it to me in a
format that can be opened with a data processing
program? I would REALLY!! appreciate it. And, if
you want to really be a friend for life, would you pls
tell me step-by-step how you did it? I would think
there are others on the list that would also like to
know. Thank you VERY much for your kind assistance.
