I would like a lookup of a marriage bond for James Assent and Christian Swan 
that was signed by my ancester, Nicholas Elsey.
This would have been in 1781 in Rockingham County, Virginia.

I am looking for a good copy so that I can use Nicholas Elsey's signature on 
this document to match it with 1801 records found in Preston County, 
Virginia.
