This Marriage Record was transcribed from an "original" copy of the
record from the County Clerks office for Pike County, KY.

The Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Pike County Clerks Office Sct.
This shall license and permit you to join in matrimony Lewis Dempsey
and Nancy Stepp of the County and for so doing this shall be your
sufficient warrant Given under my hand as Clerk of the Court
aforesaid the 12 day of October 1852.

To any person legally authorized to solemnize the rites of matrimony.
