Mitzie Preston posted a notice to Va-Roots earlier this week asking how
to change your e-mail address for posting and receiving Va-Roots
messages. She is correct that there is no capacity to do that through
the subscription "click" on the Va-Roots Web site.
Why, I don't know, but it is so.
Before changing e-mail addresses or internet service providers, please
visit the Va-Roots Web site and unsubscribe. When you have your new
e-mail address or internet service provider, visit the Va-Roots Web site
and create a new subscription.
The computer software will not recognize you by your new e-mail address
if you wait until after you have changed and then attempt to unsubscribe
or cancel the subscription to your old account.
If, for some reason, you've fallen through a crack and have a new
account but cannot unsubscribe or cancel the old account, please let me
know, and I will ask the computer people to change your account
manually.
