Peyton RANDOLPH was briefly governor of Virginia in the early nineteenth century. He was married to Maria Ward, who is somewhat famous as the sweetheart of Peyton Randolph's cousin, John Randolph, of Roanoke. I would appreciate any subscribers who could refer me to portraits of Peyton and Maria (Ward) Randolph.

Your response is appreciated.

Charles Ward
