I'm sorry that I do not have an Oscar Hardy in my database. Have you
checked out the following website which has lots of Hardy & de Hardy
surnames?

Have you ever came across an Oscar Hardy in your searches born in Sullivan
County, Pa (I was told he was born there at some point) and living in ILL in
1920 ? My grandfather's father was Oscar Hardy and he was born and raised
in Bradford County PA by Timothy Howard. On his birth records in 1901 his
father is listed as Oscar Hardy and mother May Camp. On his marriage record
it states his father was living in unknown County ILL when he and my
grandmother married in 1920. His death records state Oscar as the father
and May Forsythe as his mother. I found May Forsythe and Harry Camp living
with the Timothy Howard family in the 1900 census for Barclay Mountain
Bradford county and May Howard and my gradfather Eugene Hardy (Howard)
living with Timothy in Monroeton, PA in the 1910 census. Timothy also had a
daughter May. So at this point I don't know what to think. Both about the
same age. There are three May Howard's married in Bradford County's
records. A May Howard is buried in the Oak HIll cemetery and a May Howard
buried in the Tioga Point cemetery that was a wife to Frank Howard son of
Timothy. Do you know anything about Oscar Hardy?
  Thank you,
