Hilary,
Would greatly appreciate those copies. Will help when I apply
for SAR through him. As you will note I am SAR. It is through
Bethel Bromley out of CT. If I can prove back to Pleasant Cocke
it will make 3 men who served. The other one was Ransom Alphin/
Allphin. He was unable to get a pension for his service as he
could not come up with the proper papers. Yet there is a published
paper of his service and his tribulations. All 3 were on my mothers
side of the family.
I tried to send you an attachment concerning the sale of the
Court House in Richmond, VA. Apparently cannot send an
attachment with this email. Interesting article.
