Thanks to all that responded. Florence found him. I had faulty information
that Simeon was born in Great Barrington, MA, when it was Barrington, RI. Best
regards to all, Tim Spradling

Are you sure he was b. in Great Barrington MA?
A Simeon Grant died of consumption in Somerset MA 5 Nov 1871. His age
was 56 years, 10 months and 7 days. He was a carpenter b. Barrington
RI to William Grant b. Barrington and Louis Grant b. Sekonk[sic].
There was a Barrington RI m. of William Grant and Lois Ladue; m. by
Rev. Luther Baker, Feb. 22, 1798. Don't know if it's connected.
