Registration deadline is Friday, March 20 for GRIVA's one-day motor coach
trip to Washington, DC scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2015.

Passengers can board the coach at 6:45am in the Martin’s parking lot, 3000
Stony Point Road, Richmond; at 7am in the LDS Church parking lot, 5600
Monument Avenue, Richmond; or at 7:15am in the Roses parking lot, at corner
of Washington Hwy/Rt 1 and Junction Drive, Ashland.

Researchers can visit the DAR Library, the National Archives or the Library
of Congress for a day of research, or take advantage of Washington’s many
attractions.

Fare for the trip is $45 for GRIVA members and $55 for non-members. Lunch
is not included.

On Wednesday, May 20, 2015 (registration deadline May 13) travelers will
head south to Raleigh for research at the North Carolina State Archives and
the State Library. Departure sites are the LDS parking lot (6:45am), Stony
Point Martins (7am) and Southpark Mall (7:30am) Fare for the trip is $45
for GRIVA members and $55 for non-members. Lunch is not included.

    The Genealogical Research Institute of Virginia, an educational not for
profit organization, was founded in 1981 to promote and encourage accurate
genealogical and historical research. For more details on these activities
