I recently perused "Nothing But Glory: Pickett's Division at Gettysburg," by
Kathy Georg Harrison & John W. Busey, looking for those of the Huffman
surname from Craig County, VA who served in the War of the Rebellion. I found
the following names on the roster of the 28th VA Infantry:
Company B (AKA Craig Rifles)
Anderson Huffman
Thomas Huffman
Second Company C (AKA Craig Mountain Boys)
Andrew Huffman, Jr.
Andrew J. Huffman
Joseph Huffman
Ransom P. Huffman
Does anyone know how these men are related? Am also interested in any other
of the Huffman surname, from Craig County, who fought for the Confederacy. Am
hoping to possibly find information on a John N. Huffman, my ggg grandfather.
Thank you in advance for any information. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Mike Peters
