One underlying principle of archival work is access. Our new Organizational
Records Guide is designed to provide better access to those records with a
central catalog. This guide is a tool our researchers can use to identify the
records of more than 650 orders, regiments, societies, organizations,
associations, and parties that reside at the Library. Visit the blog and take a
look at today's entry and scroll down to see rare, hand-written newspapers
from a school in Petersburg, some of which can be found nowhere else.
