There is not much context beyond the name, but the "Lisbon" you seek might be related to the the Battle of Salineville (7/26/1863), which occurred near Salineville, Ohio.  This was where General John Hunt Morgan's cavalry was soundly defeated by Union troops.  Morgan was captured later in the day.
