Hi to the List

I have three locations for a man found whose name was learned in deeds of
Nelson Co, Va. In each case he is named as the husband of a woman who is
turning her right to claim part of lands owned by parents and siblings over
to another sibling.

This is my only source of documentation as to his name, which is Thomas T.
Handy. A widow in a collateral line remembers her husband mentioning
"General Handy" but had no idea who he was.

1 - 1937 D. C. (area)
2 - 1948 Houston, Texas (area) likely Fort Sam Houston
3 - 1949 Bexar Co., Texas

I have found in the Ancestry.Com 1930 Census Indexing a possibility, but this
is in Panama and they are not yet on line.

I don't know his birth year, or place.

So my question to the list...what next?

Alice in Fluvanna
