A "GENEALOGY" list is no place to express person political opinions.

On the other hand... as for the book.  If the library purchased "every"
publication that every family member printed they wouldn't have very much
left to buy other things.  I am sure they have to weigh the value of just
how many people would benefit using it as opposed to simply buying a
boutique book that only 1 or 2 people over the course of years would use. 
Especially in this day and era where people are not spending as much
including those who help through personal funding contributions to the
libraries.
