The Library of Virginia will be closed all day on Friday, November 10,
2006, a state holiday for Armistice Day and Veterans Day.

The Library of Virginia will open at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 11,
2006, to avoid conflicts with the crowds and traffic pattern disruptions
associated with the start of Saturday's SunTrust Richmond Marathon. By
that time the crowds will have cleared and streets blocked in the
immediate vicinity of the Library should be open. During the running of
the marathon, other streets will be blocked around the city.
