Compared to the act of cannibalism, an Indian attack is simpler to
comprehend for me. The act of butchering and eating ones friend, neighbor or
family member would involve much more moral contemplation than dressing up
in war paint and bashing a few European's heads in.

Steve

I find it amusing that someone would think an Indian attack would be
something simple, speaking as a Native American

Doug not replying to you, but to the group.

I find it quite disturbing that living next to a great river, our
forefathers could not think of fishing. The James River is, and almost
always has been, one of the most productive fishing holes in Virginia. I
want to stick my head in the sand and still think of something as
simple as
an Indian attack.

Steve

From What I have read it was never said they killed her. Only that they
probably consumed her. Unlike the husband who was convicted of
killing his
pregnant wife etc....
