 I have been trying to identify the parents of Sterling Jamison Crump and
 George W. Crump with no luck so far.
 Sterling J. Crump's name does appear on the King Wm Tax lists in 1820 and
 is there until 1824. In 1817 he is mentioned with Mary Crump in land
 alterations (I have not personally looked at that entry so do have some
 reservations). He purchased land in King Wm in 1815 and was described as of
 Richmond. George W. Crump appears in the records (early 1800s) even less
 often.

 However, many years ago the Crump Family Newsletter published extensive
 lists of Crump marriages. These appear to be marriages of daughters of
 Thomas & Peggy:

 Polly J. Crump m. Walthall C. Lockett 8 Dec.1817, dau of Thomas, dec'd;
 Chesterfield Co., Va; Weisiger.

 Susan Crump m. Bolling Robertson, Dau. Peggy Logwood, 22 Jan. 1840;
 Chesterfield Co., Va.; Weisiger; "Religious Herald"

 Peggy Crump m. Forrest Fluornoy 9 March 1809, Chesterfield Co., Va. : Knorr

 This last one could be a marriage of a daughter from another Crump line,
 but looks interesting. I don't think there is anything to show Sterling &
 George were his sons. With Mary Jane & Elizabeth, I have not found
 anything,but have not looked thoroughly.
 Hope this helps.
 Bonnie
