Hi, Chuck. I have seen only void or voidable marriages in VA where there was a bigamous relationship.  Can you give me a citation, please?  Thanks. Paul

  And, if I recall, this is without regard to whether or not the man is
  already married. He can marry his brother's widow as a 2nd or even 3rd wife.
  The reason for this edict was to further the brother's downline, not that of
  the "stand-in" spouse (brother of the deceased).
