I am sorry to say that I knew almost nothing about tithables until I read
several emails within the last couple of days detailing the laws enacted about
them. I am very grateful to Tim Spalding for taking the time to help all of us
understand.

Is the Library of Virginia the only place you find these tithable lists?

Is there a way to pin point which county, parish, or township where one
should begin looking. I would like to review any such records for Fluvanna,
Amherst, or Nelson County. If anyone can start me in the right direction I
would appreciate it.
