I don't doubt that some person might propose taxing emails, however a careful reading of Dayton's proposal will show that he has not proposed a tax on email. His Computer User's Bill of Rights proposes that we be allowed to "opt-out" of receiving SPAM and makes Spammers pay for their mailings, just as we can now opt out of telephone solicating. It would fine offenders $10,000 for each violation. There is no cost to the rest of us.
Considering the amount of proposals I get for pornography, diet plans, "sharing" $10mil, loans, etc,,, I'm all for it.!!
"Tax" them until their broke!
