Hello List,
I am trying to locate the papers /estate repository of C.C. Baldwin, Lexington resident in the early-mid 1800's., if it exists.  Specifically, I am looking for the 28 page book that he wrote in 1877 called "Primary Language Lessons: How To Read and Write Correctly". This book was distributed to teachers of the Lexington Schools. At the time, there was controversy about the book, discussed in the Lexington Gazette newspaper between Baldwin and a detractor.

Any information would be appreciated.
