I would not give a hoot in Hades for a "family history" that did not reveal at least a sincere effort at equality of treatment of ancestors with ancestresses.

I would also suggest that there will be DNA samples that will be truly confounding and unresolvable by reason of the dalliances of some of our forbears.   I have never thought our mothers were much different than were our fathers.
