I am trying to find information on Philip Davis who lived in Fauquier Co
prior to 1769.  He and his family then moved to Rowan Co - then it became
Surry and then Wilkes Co NC.

His son James served in the REV WAR from Wilkes co under Gen Cleveland (who
came from Orange co VA).

I believe this family is somehow connected with the Taliaferro line because
one son is named Toliver Davis.

Any leads appreciated.
