" I've done a search for Armand's Corp, Charles Armand, Armand's Legion,
Armand's Partisan Corps. Can find Armand in 1781 and again in 1783 but
cannot find where they were in 1782. Has anyone done research on this?"

After Yorktown in October of 1781, Armand was sent south to support General
Greene's Army. Late in 1782, he returned north and was promoted to brigadier
general in command of Continental Cavalry in 1783.

W. Scott Breckinridge Smith
Lynchburg, Virga.
