The tax list microfilms were of very poor quality. The images were very faint and very hard to read. The 1803 tax lists appeared to be the best of the worst for our "1800" target year, and this is one year more than what our normal limit is. We will try to get better copies on our next trip to Richmond. Until then these will have to do. We will index these tax list images as time permits. We hope you find them useful.
