And there are lists, although sketchy, of Scots taken prisoner at the battle
of Worcester in 1651 and sold by Cromwell to 10 year indentures in New
England.  Some of these poor fellows arrived in Boston in February, 1652
after a nasty winter crossing.

landing points were CarribbeanIslands, Va. and Maryland among others.  Circa
