It is not fair, but I can understand the concern. It seems to be a  
phenomenon of email lists that they are sometimes hi-jacked by  
subscribers with personal agendas. And that is certainly not fair to  
other subscribers who may not be as vocal in their participation, but  
who nonetheless joined the list for its stated purpose. Perhaps we  
all would do well to re-visit the purpose of the list and remind  
ourselves of some of the "do nots," which can be found at this link:
