This is my first posting on this list.  In fact, although I subscribed
months ago, I had not received any mail due to a mixup in my address. You
can imagine my surprise today when I found I had 168 letters from y'all
waiting in a mailbox I didn't know I had!

I'm not sure my query is appropriate here, but will ask anyway.  In a
review of the early maps and land-deed charts of the 1700s, it appears that
there may have been a swath of land between the Borden and Beverly land
grants in Augusta/Botetourt/Rockbridge Co. that may not have been part of
either grant. Does anyone have information about this?
