Oh no, two Horse Pen Branches, I will check the land deeds again for river 
names, but I don't remember seeing a river listed.

According to the DeLorme Atlas for VA, there are
two Horsepen Branches in Amelia County. One is
in the NE part of the county, west of the community
of Mason's Corner. The other is in the SE part of
the county, north of the Mannboro community, and
it flows directly into the Appomattox River
