I don't know the Brumleys, but Belfield is an old family name in the
Northern Neck. Dr. Joseph Belfield (1685-1738) of Devon settled in
Richmond Co. He married Frances Wright by 1704, Mary Lane in 1707, and
Elizabeth Dozier at some point.
