Good morning, I am searching for the ship and/or passenger list
that "transpoted" 19 people including Jacob DeWitt by the widow, Elizabeth
Packer in 1637. This is according to Nugent's Cavaliers and Pioneers.
Jacob is a direct ancestor of mine. The only information that I have is
that he was a French Huguenot and was born circa 1616 in Holland or
France. The colony was not that old at that time and hopefully not too
many ships docked there. I feel if I know the ship or find the passenger
list it will help me located from whence he came. Did he flee France to
England or some other country to avoid persecution? Help!!!!!!!!
