Here are some of the websites that would and could help you in gathering information re slaves and masters of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. I will send a resume and you do with it as you please. Where do you live, Charee?

I’m not familiar with the different societies. Do you have addresses for them??? As far as the Southside ancestry, do you have documented records that you don’t mind contributing to the site? I have been reading your post and see that you are versed in different areas of genealogy. We have a page for bios. I would like to place your bio on it if you don’t mind sharing it I would like to place it on our “acknowledgement” page. Those that post to that page are by invitation only. You can visit it and get an idea of what is posted. If you chose to do so you can submit a one page word document.

Thanks; just did. If such would help you, why do you not join the sites and ask the VA websites for the names and dates of slaves of which they have knowledge ??? I personally know the "wheres" and whens of several owned or living nearby my early Southside ancestry.

No problem. If you have time visit the Kentucky African American Griots website.
