Va-Hist and Va-Roots subscribers will have noticed that the Library of
Virginia on-line catalog has been sporadically out of service this week.
Regularly scheduled maintenance and a software upgrade did not go as
well as planned, and the computer people are working as hard as they can
to ascertain why and put everything back in good working order. Those of
us work in the library and also depend on the catalogs all day every day
also don't know when full service will be restored. Patience, please.
